This line drawing series Is a technique I developed, which facilitates and utilizes free associative ideas through small drawings. Tied together with one continuous line, this excercise can harness many different characters, stories and ideas quickly. Creating a continuous line is in itself a tedious task: filing pages with cursive drawings. Therfore, in one's creation of such a drawing, one must quickly create and complete each letter-like picture as fast and as well as possible, in order to make progress. This forces one to represent short and quick ideas in a chaotic brainstorm of gestural imagery.

In doing this my line has evolved from words, to characters, and finally into individual scenes in a larger story. These drawings are an example of what one might be able to do using this llne drawing technique.
